You probably thought you would be reading about an envious, black sheep of a friend. I bet you will soon realize we are birds of a feather. If I am a black sheep, we are all sheep drenched in black.

So, normal norms level, Chris and I have everything in common; well, except this-

You know when nature decides to Zeh in one person's direction, it shouldn't be a surprise if all hell breaksfree. You know how you feel when you do a duet with your bestie and everyone is shouting Chris! Chris!! Chris!!! Up an dan. 

The first time it happened,  I was like whaa... wwwhaat?! Am I a ghost? 

When it persisted, I decided I was never going to perform any song with Chris again. Some strange emotions- I asked myself for months why this feeling. I mean, I beat Chris at everything, I even sing better... well, so I thought. 

It's a miracle Chris and I are still friends after I confronted him. Yes! I asked the guy makawhy? Why does he take all the glory at every performance?  I wish I didn't sorosoke. I was so embarrassed to hear his response.

Chris said, "Yes, of course, who would not prefer my **** to yours." 

Gosh! I have even mentioned his name a million times here, yet you don't know mine.

Yes, I've always been jealous of the goals and achievements my friends already have at such a young age sometimes makes me feel like I'm not doing enough but It's also my drive to be better, to do things in a different light, try new things n be better n it has always helped me, it has affected my betterment

    3. Yes I've been and to be honest I still am. Why won't I be? I'm surrounded with friends who are goal getters and it makes me feel discouraged when it feel likes I'm not doing something to move forward. Looking on the bright side, I'm jealous of my friends because they do the things I'm too lazy to do and that makes me get my lazy a** up and work! Talk about inspiration.
    Indeed I love my friends and wouldn't trade them for anything but, I'm also jealous of them.

    3. Yes o, I have. Whatever she lays her hand on prospers, sometimes she just have an idea and it is already working for her. I became jealous of her and it costed our friendship. Couldn't keep the friendship, I don't want the Jealousy to transform to hate. I still love her but I would rather run on my own pace

    3. I think in a real senerio, I'd have advised saka to go for a little branding. Even the name puts me off.
    Jealousy isn't a bad emotion, it's just like love, happiness, joy but could become toxic when it matures into Envy.
    The truth is, you'll never be at the top of everything; someone will always outperform you, so, deal with it.

    Another noteworthy trend is the effect of social media in our lives, I mean 20-27 year olds.
    Trust me, you're winning, no one is posting their bad days, insecurities, failure, therefore, trust the process and trust yourself.

    On a final note, build friends across all levels.
    Friends you look up to,
    Friends on the same tier with you and
    Friend you elevate.

    Honestly, Jealousy in friendship is inevitable. And it doesn't have to be negative. One can simply be like you said rightly jealous of his or her bestie, but the ability to curb it early is important so as not to turn to something more serious.
