CARD'S SOLILOQUY

 D e a r   N i g e r i a n s,

News is going around that many of you think I am of no use. The responsible ones have me at the tip of their fingers but year in year out I never make it out of their purse. When you eventually make me see the light of day, na so so bad choice.

This time it appears your choices are very limited: keep me idle in your purse again or make the obvious good choice for once in your history!

Well, it's you WAZOBIA people I am talking about. Some will still think they have many choices. In thier mind, there are about five choices to make;

- Keep me idle

- Abuse me to make some cash

- Use me to enthrone a business man just because "e don try sote, it's time to help him actualize his dreams."

- Use me to give the crown to the next oldie in line; either he has something to offer or not, "àwọn lọ kan!" Since the Crown belongs to the King's family only and WAZOBIA's remote control is money and power.

- Listen to every aspirant and logically use me put the right person on seat. The One who really has a plan, who atleast presents himself serious about doing what is right.

I will like to let you know however, that if you don't have me, you are wrong! I matter, I really do!!

Atleast you all should use me for the right purpose for once and see if I am worth the while. I am so bored in here, open your wallet!

It's painful but true, this my soliloquy may never get to anyone. I am only a Card, 'Permanent Voters Card' they call me.

But before I give my wise counsel,  whose side are you on?

a) Atikulated?

b) Obidient?

c) Emi lọ́kΓ n?

d) Or you just want to keep praying for a 'better' Nigeria?

  2. Whether you vote or not, the system is already corrupted. They know who they want on the seat and even if " a good man" gets the seat eventually, he can never actualize what we need as a country because it's not in his power to do what God should do. The high time we all look and pray to God for his kingdom to come n scrap these other kingdom the better for us because the only permanent solution is his kingdom!

  4. Dear Feyikemi, I must foremost appreciate your sense of usage of that literary device(personification). If the object had mouth to talk and a brain to think, I think those things you said would be it agonies right now. The said-object is useful when it's been channeled appropriately but Nigerians you know, have abused it and misused it overtime. However, I'll want to let you know that the said-object alone cannot save this sinking Nation from the hands of the oppressors. The fight is far beyond that of the card alone. The principalities and powers that control the Nations cannot just be subdued by a mere card. We need to all come together to make red dress on all our political/governmental outfit.

    Sincerely yours.

  10. To be honest these three candidates are not the best but two are the worst if they gets the position. So I would like to go with the one that's not really bad
